Homework update 9/21/11

Hey everyone! Here's the update for Thursdays math assignment:
Text book pg. 71 (1-10)

Homework for week of Sept 19th

Hello Valencia parents and Sea Stars! I'm Elias's mom, Nicole. I will do my best to keep you all updated about weekly homework assignments, any changes in assignments or any parent reminders that I can pass on. This is my first blogging experience, so please feel free to give me pointers. Ok, here we go...

Monday
1. Spelling/Vocabulary: complete "missed words" paper & study them(these are the spelling words your kids missed on spelling test today)
2. Read A.R. Book for 30 minutes
3. Math: practice book pg. 23 & 24
Don't forget to wear tennis shoes for P.E. Tomorrow

Tuesday
1. Spelling/vocabulary: Write 10 sentences using spelling words & underline spelling words (your kiddos should know where to find the spelling words in practice book, they've been studying them for two days now).
2. Math: practice book pg. 25 & 26
3. Read A.R. book for 30 minutes

Wednesday
1. Spelling/Vocabulary: practice book pg. 30 & 31
2. Math: Text Book pg. 68 (1-20) Study for chapter 3 test!!
3. Read A.R. book for 30 minutes
Library tomorrow. Remember library books.

Thursday
1. Spelling/Vocabulary: study for spelling/vocabulary test tomorrow. Practice book pg. 29
2. Math: practice book pg. 25 & 26 (already did this tues, so I'll update you all when I know correct pages)
3. Read A.R. book for 30 minutes
4. Cursive (on back of homework assignment paper) due tomorrow.
Bring in library books if not already returned.
Wear tennis shoes for P.E. & creek walk (yeah!!) tomorrow.

Whew..well, there's this week's assignments, to be updated as needed. Also, big thanks to chaperones for West Struve Slough field trip. We are still in need of one more willing parent to make this field trip work. Thanks for all your dedication parents!! Have a good week.
